Chef/Kitchen Manager for the Cork and Brew located in Liberty, MO

Subordinate Staff: Prep cooks, line cooks and dishwashers

Essential Functions:

1. Trains all kitchen personnel in proper recipe and plate presentation and monitors andinspects to ensure compliance.2. Ensures that all stations remain stocked before and during the meal period.3. Maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitization standards and rules. Oversees cleaning of all areas of the kitchen including storeroom areas, walk-ins, service areas andrecycling/trash.4. Controls food cost by following established portion control guidelines andpurchasing/ordering procedures, recipe adherence, product rotation and the properutilization of all inventory, including leftovers.5. Receives product by verifying invoice and freshness of merchandise. Reviews allinvoices for accuracy.6. Hires and trains employees to company standards.7. Plans and implements daily specials.8. Sets excellent customer service and work examples.9. Actively participates as a member of the management team.10. Schedules kitchen staff to cover shifts, including banquet and catering requirements, and meet labor budgets.11. Conducts pre-shift meetings with staff to include, but not to be limited to, presentation of the specials, explaining ingredients, preparation and plating.12. Oversees the security of physical inventory, equipment, fixtures and kitchenware.13. Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Owner at any time.

Qualifications/Knowledge:

• College or culinary training or extensive cooking and production experience providingfamiliarity with a variety of cooking styles and techniques.• Must possess the ability to train, supervise and instruct others. Able to exercise initiative,plan the work of others, and handle several tasks concurrently.• Experience in preparing fresh, made-from-scratch menu items• Ability to handle high-volume kitchen operations• Experience in food inventory and maintenance of kitchen equipment.• Passion for service and uncompromising desire to serve the highest quality food• Basic math skills.• Awareness of local, state and federal health and sanitation laws.• Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment, includingstoves, refrigeration, slicer, knives, and dish machine.• A minimum of 5 years working in a food preparation position.• A minimum of two years working in management.

Conveniently Natural is looking for a health conscious, talented, and positive Head Chef. Conveniently Natural is Kansas City's only organic, plant based meal delivery service. Our mission is to provide the Kansas City community with healthy, wholesome food at an affordable price. Position Responsibilities:

Position Requirements:

At least 1 year managerial and leadership experience

Pay: $16 to $21 per hour based on experience and fit

Come work in a brand new state of the art facility located in the new Mid-American Heart Institute at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. We are currently seeking self motivated production cooks, Line cooks and Sous Chef for our new dining facility and room service kitchens along with Pastry cooks, bakers and Pastry Chef to work in our new state of the art bake shop. These individuals will be responsible for the preparation, delivery and/or service to our customers and patients. Sous Chef at the Isle of Capri to take over our new Lone Wolf Concept.

This is a Restaurant/Bar concept, unique in a way because we have bands every weekend which changes to a club atmosphere late in the evening.

Our ideal Chef needs to have the following qualities: The ideal candidate for this position will have a great positive attitude, strong communication skills, creativity, and ability to teach and demonstrate new culinary concepts. Must be consistent, energetic, and instrumental in creating new fun menu items as the restaurant evolves.

The requirements for the Sous Chef position are:

- At least five years of experience as a Sous, Pastry, or Specialty Chef is required.

- Some A La Carte experience.

- Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.

- Knowledge of all applicable OSHA regulations and health code regulations.

- Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

- Read, write, and understand simple instructions.

- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.

- Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.

- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
